AIR DESIGN CHEVROLET SILVERADO
LOOKING FOR THE PROMISED LAND
"The fountain of youth can be found in many things, depending on the person and their passions; We find ours in cars"
Sometime it is unexpected though, some cars, at first glance, might look too serious to be passionate about but it cars like that, that we enjoy the most. It gives us a challenge to change the car and add a style that hasn’t been seen before.
We decided to work on a new Chevrolet Silverado SS, a very comfortable truck to drive long distances, with great power and workforce, worthy of an American pick up. Our goal was to get it ready to go around the world, searching for new sites meanwhile keeping a unique style that made it stand out where it would travel.
It’s was already a great truck but we knew there was more potential in it. We decided to paint the whole body black, removing any stickers, and only leaving room for the stock logos. Next added an off-road suspension to prepare it for any terrain, along with a new set of tires ready to grip anything. After that we geared the truck up Wilwood brakes to improve performance, and to compliment this equipment we also added Airdesign pieces. Some huge corners and door panels were equipped but also painted to match the trucks color. The trunk molding and the spoiler were left in matte black to exhibit a country look. As a finishing touch, we placed tubular tombs in the front, a tubular structure in the box that works as a base for the high definition LED lights with the same matte black, and a huge air outlet hatch in the chest.
We found our fountain of youth in this truck and surely we’ll continue to find it in more vehicles as well.
